In the process, showing themselves as happily aligned with fascists and racists. Delightful. The cognitive dissonance on display is breathtaking.

To those commentators: the enemy of your enemy is not your friend, and will sell you down the river infinitely more than anything the left's ever done. A hugely important movement is being radicalised and taken in a disastrously different direction by fascists, thugs and hatemongers.

If that movement doesn't rid itself of such poison, it will lose. And it'll deserve to lose too. Because it will not win over anyone at all to its cause - and it'll alienate vastly more who would otherwise be strong allies.
